Boy, has it been one crazy week. Work was fun/hectic/great. I had to help with the set-up and take-down of a photo shoot for MK Olsen. It was amazing to see just how much work goes into getting that one perfect shot of just one person for the cover of a magazine. Yesterday I got to listen to and write notes on some really great unreleased albums (including Animal Collective!), so that was cool. It has all just been so incredibly interesting. The work that I do is seemingly insignificant and perhaps a bit tedious and annoying, but for me it's a glimpse into a world that I'm never seen before.
NYLON requested some headbands/hair pieces for a story they're doing for the March issue on the surrealist art movement...who knows if they'll actually use them, it's a possibility.
SO, now it's Friday and I have four days off. The quest for a fun part-time job continues. I've got some headbands to make for Monday and plans with a handful of people. Tonight I'm going to a Raveonettes/Nickel Eye concert that should be terrific. I'm very excited.
It's funny, even though I have four days off it still seems like I'm really busy. Maybe that's only because I make myself busy.
That's all for now :)
