My goodness, it has been a crazy couple of weeks. Last Thursday I went to a fancy little magazine party at PHI...it was filled with socialites and fashion people and the DJ was incredible. Too bad I had to help with things for most of the evening (oh how it is to be an intern), but still, I met a lot of interesting and apparently important people. I guess it was yet another glimpse into that work that I'll eventually, hopefully sooner than later be a part of.
At Isaac I've been busy working on developing embroideries for the Spring 2010 collection...it's fun. I love buying sequins and sitting around the studio sewing all day...it's the perfect little craft time.
Last weekend Aunt Gwen and Katie came for a little visit. I showed them some of my favorite places and we just had a lovely time. On Saturday night Katie and I saw Cut Copy/ Matt & Kim in concert. I've said this a million times...but it blew my mind. It was such a crazy and ridiculous show. And the fun continues...this week have a lot of catching up to do though, so therefore there's not much time for fun until Friday when Celia and I are devoting the entire day to ourselves. It's her first day interning at Isaac, so we're doing coffee and croissants before and something fun after. THEN my mother and Kylie are coming for a lightening fast visit on Saturday...just enough time for shopping and eating. And boy do I need some new spring clothes before spring break!
That's about all for now. It still is weird for me to disclose details of my personal life via the internet, but maybe I'm getting better at it.

Caroline!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say hi, and that I miss you dearly. I'm very glad that everything is working out for you at both internships, and that so many people come visit you. I also wanted to say a belated congratulations on you choice to attend Central St. Martins. You continue to deserve the world, and I'm glad that it's delivering!
Take care of yourself,
Luis
