Things at Isaac are getting crazy as the Resort 2010 collection presentation is near and consequently there is a shortage of interns right now. It's increasingly exciting to be in such an environment as Isaac is becoming increasingly popular. His Bravo show, The Fashion Show (supposedly Bravo's Project Runway replacement) premieres on May 7th, he's doing amazing things for Liz Claiborne and he even rang the opening bell at the stock exchange on Tuesday. Oh, even better, he was the guest judge on last week's Iron Chef, which was challenge butter. It's so easy to admire a person like him. I'm so grateful for everything this internship has taught me.
My time here in the city is quickly coming to an end. I can't image what it'll be like to empty my apartment, leave my jobs and abandon everything I've known for the past four months. It's so depressing to think about, so I try not to. But I just wish I could come up with something interesting to do for a bit this summer to stay inspired and experience something else.
On Wednesday I say Peter, Bjorn & John in concert (known for their indie-pop anthem "Young Folks" a few years back---ridiculously good song). AND Animal Collective is coming up. May is basically just a good month for concerts, so I've got something to look forward to.
That's all I've got for today. I'll be home the weekend before graduation, NOT going to prom--only three weeks from now.
