i survived fashion week.

Helllllo everyone! First of all, I apologize for my absence. Last week was perhaps the most ridiculous in recent memory and I can't even describe what it was like. First of all, there is nothing like the energy in New York City like that during fashion week. After working endless days until the latest hours at night as an unpaid intern,  I can say that they last of sleep and needle pricks on my fingers was absolutely worth it. 

The Isaac Mizrahi show was at the New York Public Library on Thursday afternoon. I was assigned as a back stage helper with handbags to run, clothes to organize and talented people to observe. It's amazing to be in the presence of a person such as Isaac. It wasn't until I took this internship that I realized what an impact he has on so many people. It's truly unfathomable. 

After an insane week of sacrificing my own social life, I was able to make up for it with the visit of my old friend Ellen (a.k.a Elke) who came from Pittsburgh. After much city exploring, concert go-ing (Noah and the Whale is AMAZING live), good food and time spent with my new friend Leslie, tonight is the first night that I have had to myself in quite some time.

I know that there is probably more that I should catch you up on, but I truly can't remember so I'll leave it at that.
